Breeds Of The Week 1

The Vizsla

This aristocratic beautiful beast is often known as the Hungarian Pointer, and affectionately known as the ‘Velcro Vizsla’ (one who loves to be next to his owners!)
Originating in Hungary the Vizsla was bred as a pointer and retriever, and those instincts remain today.
The Vizsla is the only breed who has who won all 4 categories becoming a champion in conformation, field, obedience, and agility.
Gentle, loving, and energetic, they excel when having a job to do, but can become a little destructive if left alone.
The perfect dog for an active family, though very young children may find their enthusiasm a little overwhelming.
Eager to please the Vizsla learns fast, and they are a wonderful watchdog with their protective nature. Sensitive and loyal, you will have endless love from this elegant and beautiful beast.

Breeds Of The Week 2

The Sphynx

This breed of beautiful beast came about by way of accident. In the 1970’s in Canada, a little kitten called ‘Prune’ was born with no fur. He was reproduced and the breed took on the name of Sphynx (having originally been called the Canadian Hairless Cat).
Massively social, intelligent and athletic, the Sphynx is a wonderful companion, warm to the touch, and with wrinkles that he will grow out of as he grows from a kitten into a cat. They do feel the cold, so a jacket is a must when its chilly, and although not requiring brushing, there are other grooming treatments required to keep their skin soft and supple. This beautiful beast will attract attention, and will love it!
